Winter Fun at the Kalmia Club

Join the members of The Kalmia Club on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at their historic clubhouse located at 39 York Street next to Mary Sheridan Park as they march into their 120th year as members of the Greater Federation of Women’s Organizations of both New Jersey and the national organization. The Kalmia Club has proudly served women from both sides of the Delaware River providing opportunities for service, the arts and culture since 1897.
The day includes activities which should delight the young and the young at heart! Make your own s’mores around the fire pit in the park, join in group games, try your skill at a bean bag toss into the frozen mountain, all the while listening to hearty musicians eager to have you join in song! Inside enjoy hot cider and cocoa along with some tasty treats baked by the women of the club! Activities include: Wishing Wall for 2018, snowmen photo op, live strolling musicians and a sing along, origami penguins, three dimensional snowflakes, snowperson paperchains, coloring station, and 50/50 raffle.
The January 21st fundraiser and a second in April on the 21st, along with the annual Hidden Garden Tour, insure this active women’s civic organization can continue to support numerous local charities, provide scholarships to local high junior and senior women as well as provide maintain the historic building which is part of the larger State and National Register Nomination of the City of Lambertville.
So, forget that day of cabin fever and join friends, neighbors and the women of Kalmia for an old fashioned day of winter fun! Cost is $10 per family.
