James J. Castelli Bio

James J. Castelli was born in Raritan New Jersey. Throughout his life, James has always been fascinated by the non-traditional. At a very young age, he was drawn to the underground world where creative souls united to create a unique and eclectic world of music, fashion, dance, and art.

His interest in art was cultivated during his younger years and further developed studying art at RVVC and interior design at NYU. He loved early Picasso and was inspired by Warhol and Basquiat.

James works in all mediums to create unique expressions of his imagination and loves to embrace the imperfections of life. He also paints under the pseudonym Klaus Von Muller.
Some of his paintings are available at the People’s Store Antiques Center.

James lives in Lambertville with his partner David.
