Peddler’s Scarecrow Festival 

Peddler’s Village, Rtes 202 and 263, Lahaska, PA 18931
Stroll among the scarecrows on display throughout the Village. Guests can sign up for scarecrow-making workshops and take home their very own scarecrow! Live entertainment, food, children’s activities and pumpkin pie-eating contests both days.

The aMAZing Pumpkin Carve

Howell Farm 17 Valley Road Hopewell Township, NJ 08530
Imagine a 150-pound pumpkin carved to look like Edgar Allen Poe. Or turned into a skeleton clawing its way out of a bowl. Now imagine fifty of these aMAZing pumpkins displayed at the Howell Farm Corn Maze. The Hopewell Valley Arts Council is expanding this popular walk-through exhibition to two weekends this year. Rocky Horror Picture Show

Lamenting a missed chance to see The Rocky Horror Show?  Already counting down the days until “Rocky Season” returns?  Never fear…The Rocky Horror Show will be back LIVE ON STAGE at Bucks County Playhouse October 2017!  That’s right…The Rocky Horror Show will be back LIVE ON STAGE once more!

Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show, a musical that inspired the 1975 classic cult film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, follows innocent couple Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter, his “perfect” creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures.

Given the nature of the subject matter, we recommend audiences no younger than 17.

Ghost Tours of New Hope 

Main St. & Ferry St., Fridays and Saturdays in October, tour starts at 8PM
Follow a lantern-led “walk” along picturesque streets where you’ll learn about the doings of such places as the towpath itself; or see the phantom Hitchhiker who may pass you in the moonlight; or see the historic inn where Aaron Burr appears from time to time and stares with sightless eyes… plus new exciting stories have been added to the Tour.

Trick or Treat Train Rides

Bring the kids to ride aboard this spooky train. Children of all ages are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes, helping to make the train a scary sight. Afterwards, trick or treat around the New Hope train station for more surprises! Trick or Treat bags, assorted toys and candy will be given out onboard as well as at the station! All ages welcome!

Haunted Halloween Rides

Take a ride on the dark side onboard the Haunted Halloween Train. Do you trust yourself to be at the mercy of your own Nightmares? When this train leaves the safety of the station, you are tossed into the hands of the unknown. Our creatures are sure to frighten the strongest of heart, and test the nerve of all onboard. Your ticket price includes access to our 3-D Maze, this is an added addition to your Scare Experience. After you depart the Haunted Train, you will be ushered to the 3-D Maze. At the end of the platform you will be given your 3-D glasses and off you go, into the depths of the unknown!

The Phantom of the Opera at Music Mountain

Based on Gaston Leroux’s timeless love story, Phantom tells the heartbreaking story of the disfigured musical genius known as the Phantom, and his muse, Christine Daae,. Their musical affair unfolds deep in the catacombs of the opera house, where Erik finds salvation in Christine’s breathtaking voice.

High Heeled Drag Race

The High Heel Race is an all-inclusive event, which represents our communities’ diverse and accepting culture. Everyone in the race, male and female participants alike will wear high heels as they each carry a two dimensional birdcage up the hill  where they will decorate it and return down Mechanic Street in New Hope, PA   All proceeds benefit New Hope Celebrates (NHC), a local non-profit organization focused on highlighting the history and cultural nuances of New Hope, PA through the creation and promotion of marketing opportunities, educational activities, and cultural events. New Hope Celebrates has partnered with The Logan Inn who will play host the High Heel After Burn Party from 6:30 – 9:00pm (directly after the race).

Lambertville & New Hope Zombie Walk, presented by the Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau

Beginning on the former site of River Horse Brewery in Lambertville and concluding at Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope
Saturday October 28, 2017, Registration time 4pm, crawl begins at 4:30.  Arrive at 3:00 and have your make up done by the artists of Zanya Spa Salon!

Zombies have invaded the Delaware River Towns and will cross the bridge to terrorize two states! Prizes to the best costumes. Cost to participate is a $10 donation per family.

Zombie Crawl and Borough Parade

Frenchtown will host their annual Zombie Crawl and Borough Parade from 12pm to 4pm. Start your crawl in Frenchtown. Zombies in need of a little face lift, can head to Sunbeam Park by the river starting at 1pm to have themselves done over before or after they register for the crawl and head off in search of brains for prizes. Registration is $5 per zombie; $5 additional for make up.

Washington Crossing Bridge on the New Jeresey side.
Come out dressed in your best costumes this Halloween and run the canal path on the Jersey Side, South from the Washington Crossing Bridge either in the 5k or 8k run categories.

Lambertville Halloween: Trick or Treating on North Union Street

North Union Street, Lambertville, NJ
North Union Street from York to Buttonwood Street will be closed to allow for trick or treating from 5:30 – 9 pm. Property owners are asked to move their cars prior to 5:30 pm. See spectacular Halloween home displays and trick or treat among the community. In past years, the local musical group, Spare Parts, offered a surprise performance.
