ArtYard

Where: 13 Front St, Frenchtown, NJ 08825
Contact: (908) 996-5018
About:  Our newest exhibition (in)animate will be up from September 30th until December 31st.

(in)animate is a group exhibition with artists whose work repurposes organic materials. The fragility of insect wings, the durability of fossils and rocks, the strangeness of bones and feathers create conditions for art that can be dislocating, arresting, beautiful, and illuminating. In pondering what animates nature and what is missing in its absence, viewers may be invited to consider their own cycles of transience and transformation.

The exhibition will also invite visitors to engage in a creative process of their own in a separate space inspired by the Rhode Island School of Design’s Nature Lab, a collection of natural history artifacts.

Event: The evening of Saturday October 14 at 8pm we will host a film Screening of Keep the Change with Director Rachel Israel. The film is about a man and a woman who live in a group home for adults with autism who form a close bond.

About:  Reinboth opened its studio in 1992 and Scott Reinboth was the original, and only employee. The business began as a home furnishing, gift, and antique store. Yet almost immediately his customers began bringing him their decorating questions and challenges. In 1994 he began offering interior design services in earnest. He hired a design and support staff, and began to attract an enthusiastic clientele. Interior design services range from the perfect piece to the complete dream home or commercial setting. Specialists in upscale residential and commercial design, the designers at Reinboth pride themselves on allowing their client’s personalities and work needs come through in each of their projects.
Event: Reinboth will be open October 14th & 15th until 6pm, featuring original artwork. Currently they are showing four different artists and will be offering 20% off all artwork in the design studio. Reinboth will have music and refreshments.
Visitors can also take advantage of our floor model sale. Selected floor samples are on sale, up to 30% off!!

This is a fabulous idea! As usual the great ideas are fueled and highlighted by Rago Auctions and the gorgeous team of David and Suzanne.
This will prove to be both amusing and diverting!
