2016 Delaware River Towns Summer Guide

summer guide

School’s out for summer, sun and fun abound, which means you will be on the look-out for activities that are family friendly and life enhancing. Creating treasured memories is part of the allure of summer.  The landscape lends itself to hiking and biking, picnicking and swimming. For those who simply want to chill, there are parks in which you can spread a blanket and gaze at the clouds as they lazily pass overhead. There is something for everyone here in our region that makes it a vacation destination for visitors from around the world. How fortunate we are that these events are in our back yard.

The 2016 Delaware River Towns Summer Guide is presented by Logan Inn, located in New Hope, PA! Established as an inn in 1727, the Logan Inn is the oldest continuously run inn in Bucks County. With a prime Main Street location, logan Inn has become a local destination serving up great food and drinks right in the heart of town. With 22 beers on tap at their outside bar, cabanas, covered patio, and firepits, Logan Inn is the ideal summer hangout spot. In addition to Sunday jazz brunch and daily lunch and dinner service, Logan Inn shakes things up every month with special house events. Whether it’s a craft beer dinner, cocktail making class, comedy show, or whiskey tasting there is always something going on at the Logan Inn. Besides handcrafted cocktails and a straight-from-the-market raw bar, their extensive outdoor area also provides a front row seat to the New Hope Fireworks every Friday night!
