1740 House: Who won the overnight stay?

Nearly a month ago, we launched a contest in search of the person/people with the most Bucks County pride. We had some fantastic contestants (see them here). Voting closed yesterday, and the results are in!

The winner is…. The Zeamans!!

Enjoy your staycation in Lumberville. Nestled in the small village of Lumberville, right on the Delaware River is The 1740 House, where the Delaware River and the New Jersey river banks provide a tranquil setting for a carefree getaway. All 24 spacious Bed & Breakfast rooms and suites have spectacular views of the water and surrounding countryside.

Start your day with breakfast prepared by your hosts and then let yourselves take the time to truly appreciate Bucks County! Spend a lazy day riverside on 1740 House’s gardened terrace, patio, and decks. Walk the canal towpath or for the more adventurous, try kayaking, canoeing and tubing on the River. Also available are bicycle tours, wine festivals, farmer’s markets, flea markets and antique shows. Plus, a private tavern is open to guests and club members Wednesday thru Sunday for cocktail service and wine sales. How romantic!

Be sure to “Like” the 1740 House on Facebook so that you can be the first to know about all of their great future events and specials.
